LIVE will be performing at the River Rocks Music Festival in St Paul, MN on September 20th. Tickets for this event are on sale now. Ticket prices will vary depending on how early you purchase your tickets, so we recommend purchasing your tickets early to get the best price! We were able to set up a Homespun presale for the House of Blues Chicago show. The presale begins on Wednesday (7/23) at 10 AM Central Time and will run until Thursday (7/24) at 4 PM Central Time. The LIVE show on July 15th will now be located at a different venue! The show has been moved to the Marquee Theatre in Tempe. All tickets for the Mesa show will be honored at this new location, and the show is general admission. Please make note of this venue change if you are planning on attending this show next week!

It was a beautiful day out in ‘De Heeren van Aemstel’ Amsterdam, June 29th. Over a hundred fans from all over Holland and even some international friends came to the Dutch capitol to warm up for the upcoming Paradiso shows June 30 and July 1.

After the annual presentation of activities by the board of the Subculture of Live and a cover band on stage there awaited a big surprise for these die-hard fans: who walked by? Isn’t that.. yes! It was the guys from LIVE casually walking by to join in on the fun. They stayed for quite some time to give everyone the opportunity to take pictures, get an autograph and be happy. Stijn from Subculture of LIVE even recorded some video footage that can be checked out on YouTube. What a wonderful day. A perfect warm up for the incredible and unforgettable shows in Paradiso.. Wait till the DVD comes out!

LIVE are prepping and producing a live concert DVD that will feature their performances at the Paradiso in Amsterdam and document their upcoming trip in Holland from June 26th until July 1st. An audio CD of the concert performance will also be released with the DVD. Holland fans will get to enjoy this concert live, but fans all over the world will get to relive the many exciting moments of LIVE’s trip to Holland. On December 1st, 2007, LIVE performed at the 46664 World Aids Day Concert in Ellis Park, Johannesburg. Inspired by the vision and leadership of Nelson Mandela, 46664 is a campaign vehicle of the Nelson Mandela charitable organizations. 46664’s aim is to raise awareness of the global HIV/AIDS pandemic, as well as funds to support the ongoing 46664 campaign and the HIV AIDS projects it directly supports throughout sub-Saharan Africa. 46664’s project funds develop and support practical programs for the prevention, testing, care and support for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.

At this concert, each member in the band wore a shirt with the number on it… and when they stood side by side it said “46664” for all of the fans in the audience to read.

This was a very memorable moment at this concert, and now we’re giving Homespun members the chance to own a part of that memory.

It’s easy to be a part of the contest. All you have to do is be a current member when we select the winners. We’ll randomly select 5 people from all of our membership files to win. If you’re a current member, and your membership does not expire before May 16th, 2008 then you’re already entered!

If you’re a current member who expires before May 16th, 2008 then you need to renew when your membership expires in order to be entered. IMPORTANT NOTE: please DO NOT renew before your membership is about to expire. This will only create a 2nd membership for you and will not extend your current membership further. You need to wait until close to your membership expiration date to order. When you order a membership, the expiration date is 1 year (or 2 yrs if you order a 2 yr membership) from the date of your order. For example if you order a 1 yr membership on April 19th. 2008, your membership will expire on April 19th, 2009. So please wait until close to your membership expiration to renew since there is no way to just extend the date on a current membership. LIVE has confirmed three more shows! They will be performing at the DC101 Chili cook off on Saturday, May 10th in Washington, DC. Other acts scheduled to perform at this festival include Chevelle, Deaf Pedestrians, Seether, Finger Eleven, and Staind. LIVE will be the 2nd last act of the evening. LIVE will be performing in Jim Thorpe, PA the next evening (May 11th) at Penn’s Peak. Tickets for this event also go on sale Friday, April 4th via Ticketmaster. We cannot confirm yet if we are able to get one set up, but if we do we will post information as soon as possible for members!

LIVE has also confirmed that they will be performing at Bayfest Hawaii in Kaneohe Bay, Oahu on July 6th. LIVE will be the closing act on the main stage at this festival event. We will post more on this tour date once we get more details.

LIVE will participate at this year's shows of Night of the Proms in Antwerp, Belgium. Night of the Proms is a fun-guaranteed musical night out in the unique concept of 'Classic meets pop'. As one of the most visited and most attractive musical events in Europe, it takes the audience on a journey through rousing and familiar classical repertoire and timeless pop classics, backed by a mind-blowing visual and aural setting. The first Night of the Proms concert was staged at the Antwerp Sportpaleis in October 1985. Since then, the fabulous musical spectacular welcomed more than 7 million visitors in several European countries and attracted many famous pop and rock stars, such as Bryan Ferry, UB40, Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Coolio, James Brown, Chic, Tears For Fears, Joe Cocker, Donna Summer, Status Quo, Zucchero, Al Jarreau, etc. who shared their love of music with people of all ages and different musical persuasions. UPDATED (3:30PM):East coast fans, we have some news for you too! LIVE will be performing at Nightclub 9:30 in Washington, DC on March 13th. This is an all ages show. We will post further ticketing information on this show as soon as we confirm it.

Also, LIVE will perform at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ on March 15th. This is a general admission, all ages event. Tickets for the Sayreville, NJ show go on sale Saturday (1/26) at Noon via Ticketmaster. We were able to set up a presale for this show for Homespun members. It is posted now and will run until Friday (1/25) at 4 PM EST. Homespun members just need to log into your homespun online account in order to access this presale.

Homespun Members: we were able to set up a presale for the March 9th show in Anaheim, CA. This presale is already posted and will be available until 1/25 at 1PM PST. LIVE will performing on March 8th in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Joint (inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino). The tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday (1/26) via Ticketmaster. Homespun members: we were able to set up a presale for this show for members! The presale begins TODAY (1/23) at 10AM PST and will go until Friday (1/25) at 1PM PST. The holiday season is upon us again, which means FOL has been busy planning the 2007 holiday gift. If you’re a current member and your membership is expiring at the end of this month, you’ll need to renew by 11/30 at midnight EST in order to be included in this year’s gift list. If you’re not a current member, you’ll also have until 11/30 at Midnight EST to place your membership orders in order to be eligible to receive the 2007 holiday gift.

PLEASE NOTE: Because we now have everything done electronically, we cannot make ANY exceptions to this deadline. If a membership order is not placed by Midnight EST on November 30, 2007 we have no way of including you in the 2007 gift recipient list. So please be sure to get your membership orders in before the deadline!

Remember, your membership order will not only entitle you to the 2007 holiday gift, but it will also make you eligible to win the signed guitar!

It’s easy to be a part of the contest. All you have to do is be a current member when we select the winner. We’ll randomly select one person from all of our membership files to win. If you’re a current member, and your membership does not expire before January 24th, 2008 then you’re already entered!

If you’re a current member who expires before January 24th, 2008 then you need to renew when your membership expires in order to be entered. IMPORTANT NOTE: please DO NOT renew before your membership is about to expire. This will only create a 2nd membership for you and will not extend your current membership further. You need to wait until close to your membership expiration date to order. You will get an email about 2 weeks before you expire letting you know it is time to renew. When you order a membership, the expiration date is 1 year (or 2 yrs if you order a 2 yr membership) from the date of your order. For example if you order a 1 yr membership on November 9th. 2007, your membership will expire on November 9th, 2008. LIVE will be performing at the Miami Homestead Speedway in Homestead, FL on Novmeber 18th. The performance is a free show to all attending the NASCAR race, and will occur prior to the race.

The newest tee available in the Friends of LIVE online store features a design based on an actual tattoo that Chad Taylor has on his arm. All 4 of the band members names have been added to the banners in the design. Be sure to check this one out!

LIVE has just announced that they will board the 46664 Johannesburg concert at Ellis Park next month. The last minute addition to the World AIDS Day concert on December 1 was confirmed today. The band will appear alongside the twenty-two other international and South African artists already lined up for the show, which is being staged to show support and raise funds for former President Nelson Mandela’s 46664 HIV AIDS campaign.

Confirming the band’s participation, Ed Kowalczyk said: "Nelson Mandela is one of the most inspiring and uplifting figures of our age. His tireless efforts to bring freedom and healing to the people of Africa transcend the boundaries of country and creed and speak directly to the heart of all humanity. LIVE is tremendously honoured to be part of this year's ‘46664’ concert."

As announced by Mr. Mandela on Monday of this week, fifteen of South Africa’s biggest artists have already come forward to join the concert alongside world artists Peter Gabriel, Annie Lennox, Corinne Bailey Rae, Razorlight, Ludacris, Goo Goo Dolls, Jamelia and Angelique Kidjo.
